How to block Instagram on your computer
You open Instagram to check one message and come back half an hour later. Flowly blocks instagram.com in Chrome during focus time and asks why before the feed loads.

Answer the question
When you open Instagram during focus, Flowly asks why. If it really is one message, allow 5 minutes. If not, go back.
“I need to check one message”
That is the most common reason people give Flowly for opening Instagram. It is also the one that most often turns into scrolling, because the inbox sits one tap away from Reels and the feed.
Flowly does not stop you from replying. It adds a moment of thought, shows how many times you already tried today and lets you choose a short window. You answer the message and close the tab.
See your Instagram habit in numbers
The Flowly dashboard shows time spent on each site, how often it was blocked and which reasons you picked. After a few days it often points out a pattern, for example that you open Instagram mostly when a task feels unclear.
