What to do with this number
You don't need to cut it to zero. Even an hour a day back is more than 15 full days a year. Start with the site that takes the most time and keep it closed while you work.
Flowly blocks the sites you choose during focus time and asks why when you reach for one anyway. Its daily report shows your real numbers, so you can see the change. For focused sessions, try our free Pomodoro timer.
How the calculator works
We add up your minutes per day and multiply by 365. “Days a year” means full 24-hour days. Waking time assumes 16 hours awake per day, and a work week is 40 hours.
The result is only as accurate as your estimate. Most people underestimate their screen time, so if you are not sure, round up.
